From Clinical Evidence to Real World in wound healing

  • To present the existing clinical evidence for chronic wound care and determine whether the correct evidence has been collected.
  • To determine whether more evidence for wound care is needed and whether protocols can be established to implement existing evidence-based wound care.
  • To examine how existing organisational models may influence the implementation of evidence-based wound care to improve clinical practice.
  • To provide examples of evidence-based chronic wound care from the clinician’s point of view – the facilitator and barrier elements.
